Booking terms

Stay length and times

A minimum two-night stay applies. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am.

Payment

A 50% deposit is taken by secure card payment to secure the stay. The balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation

Your booking is for leisure accommodation on specific dates. Guests do not have a statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Cancellations must be made in writing. Guests may cancel by emailing hello.midsummermeadowretreat@gmail.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice.

If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, your 50% deposit is non-refundable and no further payment is due.

If you cancel 30 days or fewer before arrival, the full cost of the stay is payable and no refund is due.

If we are able to re-let your dates, we will refund what we recover for them, less any costs we have already incurred.

We strongly recommend holiday or travel insurance covering illness, cancellation and travel disruption.

Refundable security deposit

A £100 refundable security deposit is taken with your final balance to cover minor accidental damage or breakages during your stay. Our aim is always to return your deposit in full. We simply ask that you treat Midsummer Meadow and everything within it with the same care you would your own home. Following your stay, the deposit will be returned provided no deductions are required.

Guests

Each stay sleeps 2 adults, plus a sofa bed for 2 small children. Children are welcome.
