Guest Q&A

Questions guests ask

The practical things, answered simply. Our full Terms and Conditions cover the formal detail.

How do I book?

Book directly by requesting your dates. Once you receive your booking confirmation email, you will also receive a link to make payment.

How do I get my keys?

Keys will be provided at the main house or placed in the key safe outside your accommodation. Arrival instructions will be sent by email and WhatsApp before your visit. Please return keys to the main house before you leave.

Where do I park?

One parking space is provided per accommodation in the guest car park. Carts are available to help transport luggage from the car park to your accommodation if needed.

Is there Wi-Fi or mobile signal?

There is mobile reception across most areas of the land, although this varies by provider. A Wi-Fi booster may be requested and is subject to availability.

How does electricity work?

Our accommodation uses solar power for lighting and charging small appliances such as mobile phones.

Can we bring our dog?

We're not able to welcome guests' dogs or other pets at the moment. Assistance dogs are welcome — just let us know when you get in touch.

Can we use a fire pit or barbecue?

Yes. Each accommodation has a fire pit. Please use firewood only and follow the safety guidance provided. Disposable barbecues are not permitted. Portable barbecues are available for guests.

Are there easy walking paths?

Midsummer Meadow is on a natural hillside with no tarmac. There are some man-made walkways, but surfaces can be uneven, steep or slippery, so sturdy footwear is recommended.

Can I smoke on site?

Smoking is not permitted inside any accommodation or shared facility. Any cigarette waste must be disposed of responsibly and never left on the land.

What about noise and music?

This is a peaceful countryside setting. Please keep noise low, particularly between 10pm and 8am. Loud or amplified music is not permitted; personal music should remain at a low, unobtrusive level.

What if I have accessibility requirements?

The land is naturally hilly with uneven pathways. Woodland Barn is likely to be the most suitable accommodation for wheelchair access and many accessibility requirements. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss individual needs.
